Beluchi International, Inc.'s history begins with Royal Alpaca, founded in Peru in 1962. The company was established by the grandfather of current CEO Patricia Escalante. Her wife, Genovever Rey-Sánchez, brought together knitters with traditional Peruvian techniques and established Royal Alpaca in Lima, Peru's capital, with the goal of passing on their outstanding techniques and artistic creations from the present to the future. Royal Alpaca is one of Peru's oldest knitwear manufacturers. Its long history has earned it the trust of farmers, who provide it with the finest materials. We develop unique knitwear in our own factory in Peru, using only the finest, rarest alpaca yarns and premium Pima cotton, crafting each piece by hand without compromise. It's no exaggeration to say that our work truly represents the history of Peru. Currently, the original company name remains the brand name, and under the leadership of current CEO Patricia Escalante, the company is called "Bellucci International Ltd." and continues to provide alpaca knitwear that continues to be loved by many people in Japan. Royal Alpaca's original art knitwear will continue to be made "with love" with the reliable techniques and texture of the material, so that everyone can feel happy.

He has attracted attention in Peru as a cultural bridge between Japan and Peru, and in July 2011, he was awarded the Order of Culture by the then Peruvian President in recognition of his outstanding contributions.
